Cantemo announced today that OCS, a group of subscription-based TV channels operated by Orange in France, is implementing its cloud video hub, iconik, to automate and modernize its collaboration workflows. Cantemo is represented in France by IVORY. OCS will use iconik to share media content with both journalists and various internal services within Orange. Currently this is done by manual processes, uploading contents to a system for sharing media files.

Cantemo and Backblaze have launched an integrated solution to deliver a cost-efficient cloud media management and storage solution. The joint solution has already been implemented by Everwell. The combination of Cantemo iconik and Backblaze B2 enables users to ingest and archive raw assets from Backblaze without having to maintain a local server and storage hardware installation. Once uploaded, every team member has immediate access to raw assets and lightweight proxy files which are quickly generated by iconik.

Cantemo has launched the latest version of its Media Asset Management solution, Cantemo Portal. Cantemo Portal 3.4 features improvements to the review and approve workflows. This includes an improved user experience, as well as support for timecode based commenting. Users can add comments linked to a specific time within the video. These can also be easily updated and replied to against that same specific time. The latest version also enables single-instance metadata fields.

Cantemo, a provider of next-generation media management solutions, has introduced a new integration panel for many Adobe® Creative Cloud® applications in its cloud video hub, iconik. The panel will be demonstrated at NAB. The panel makes it easy to use Adobe solutions within iconik and, having initially been integrated with Adobe Premiere Pro® CC, has now been extended to support Adobe Photoshop® CC, Adobe Audition® CC and Adobe Illustrator® CC.

Cantemo and Object Matrix have announced an integration between Cantemo’s hybrid cloud media management solution, iconik, and MatrixStore, the media focused private cloud offering built on digital content governance and object storage from Object Matrix. The integration enables a hybrid cloud workflow, with iconik able to manage assets stored in the cloud and locally within MatrixStore. This means customers can continue to have multiple petabytes of data stored locally within the MatrixStore private cloud platform, whilst being able to have a public cloud workflow tapping into that storage.
