Cantemo announced today an API integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), featuring interoperability between Cantemo iconik and AWS Elemental MediaConvert.
This API integration between the two solutions enables customers to easily transcode for various video formats, whilst keeping all of that media well organized, making it easy to find the right versions, collaborate with other stakeholders, and distribute to multiple platforms.
AWS Media Services are a family of fully-managed services that make it easy to build reliable, broadcast-quality video workflows in the Cloud. AWS Elemental MediaConvert is a file-based video transcoding service that allows anyone, with any size content library, to easily and reliably transcode on-demand content for broadcast and multiscreen delivery.
Cantemo iconik is a hybrid video hub for managing, sharing, and collaborating on media. It was designed to keep media assets secure and organized, whilst ensuring global access. Using a hybrid architecture, assets can be stored in the cloud, on-premises, or as a mixture of the two, whilst enabling full access to the entire library when needed.
Cantemo iconik also enables customers to leverage other AWS services, including cloud storage with Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), global content delivery using Amazon CloudFront, and deep learning-based image and video analysis with Amazon Rekognition. Thanks to in-depth video analysis, media assets can be searched based on highly specific information about the content itself.
Parham Azimi, CEO, Cantemo, commented: “Our customers are challenged with delivering content to multiple devices and regions, meaning a range of different versions of every piece of content. AWS Elemental MediaConvert enables easy transcoding to make sure the video is in the right format for the right device. By pairing that with iconik, our customers can keep those versions organized and ensure the right version is delivered to the right device at the right time.”
Cantemo will be demonstrating iconik and the API integration with AWS Media Services on its booth (SL5007) at NAB from 9th - 12th April.
